Bayer Planofix is a chemical plant growth regulator containing Alpha-Naphthyl Acetic Acid (NAA) 4.5% SL. It is supplied as an aqueous solution and is intended for crop-specific plant growth management. The source information lists pineapple, tomato, chilli, mango, cotton, and grapes among the specified crops.

Planofix is used for different purposes depending on the crop and growth stage. These include inducing flowering in pineapple, supporting fruit size development, delaying pineapple maturity, flower and fruit retention in tomato and chilli, applications related to fruit development and malformation control in mango, square/boll retention in cotton, and reducing berry drop in grapes.

Application is primarily through foliar spraying, with specific dilution and timing varying by crop. The source also provides pour application for pineapple flowering induction. Spraying should be carried out according to the specified crop stage and application instructions.
